In the mid 2000’s cigarette smoking was still allowed indoors in most of the United States— which in retrospect was utterly disgusting— and for a couple of years The Moon Rabbit Drinking Club & Benevolence Society stocked our local watering hole, the Bourgeois Pig, with matchbooks. Partly for promotion, but mostly just because it amused us to bring rabbit-emblazoned matchbooks into the world. We still have a stash and are happy to throw a few in with any purchase.
